Condolence & Memory Journal

Dear Paul, Christy & Andrew, I was so saddened to hear of Jody's death. I have very fond memories of the days when we were neighbors. In recent years I saw Jody interviewed about her work in Montgomery County Schools and I was so impressed with her accomplishments and success. Jody was a warm and welcoming person and will be sorely missed.

My Deepest Sympathies,

Pam Gates

I just want to say that Mrs. Jody Leleck left a great legacy and inspiration in my life. Always remember her as a great lady, principal, colleague, mentor, and most importantly friend. All of this and much more Jody meant to me.

Jody hired me for my first teaching job at Broad Acres in 2001. She was an amazing principal and mentor who empowered me to always make decisions based on the best interests of my students. She believed in all children and gave of herself tirelessly to ensure their need were met. I am relieved that she is no longer in pain and I know that she is smiling down on us from above, but I will miss her dearly. I send my love and prayers to her family.

My heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends. Jody was a courageous person who bravely and gracefully worked while fighting illness. I know that she focused on providing learning environments for students, parents, and staff that would sustain them over years. Her dedicated staff and their successes are testaments to her legacy as a leader. Those who knew her will long remember her impact.

My memories of Jody are from such a long time ago.. when the family lived in Hicksville, LI. Jody was always lively, full of grace and fun... and she always had a kind word, a big big smile and that is how I will remember Jody.
peace and love to all of Jody's family.

I have had the good fortune of knowing Paul since we graduated from college and worked together at Peat Marwick. While I did not know Jody personally, I knew her from Paul and through our many common friends as a talented lady and loving mother and wife. She will be missed and we know that she is with our Lord and is at peace. May God bless Paul and the family and give them comfort at this difficult time.
